We've had our 3 QC-1500 whole house fans for almost a year now, and believe me, it was the best improvement to our home that we ever made.

My husband and I use them daily, even in the wintertime, to remove all the stale air that accumulates. In the summertime, they are really a blessing in keeping us cool.

When the QuietCool salesman told me that I could save up to $1,800. per year on my electric bill if I would buy the QC-1500 whole house fans from him, I was very skeptical, but I wanted to cool my upstairs, regardless of the cost.

I have had them in my home now for ten months and it looks like the savings are true. I've already saved more on my electric bill than I paid for the fans, and the rebate from So. Cal. Edison Co. was like money from heaven (and my upstairs is now nice and cool in the evening).

I have had a large belt-driven whole house fan in my hallway ceiling for about 4 years now, and I love the cool breeze it brings in, but in the evening when I wanted to watch TV in the family room, I had to turn off the whole house fan in order to hear the TV.

When I first heard about the QC-1500, I thought I would buy one and try it out in my family room.

It worked so well and was so quiet, I bought 3 more and installed one in each bedroom. I am able to turn on all 4 QC-1500's at the same time, get a nice rush of cool incoming air, and can't even hear them. I love them.

Needless to say, I never even turn on the big belt-driven unit any more.

My wife and I both work every day and leave the air conditioner off while we are at work in order to save on our electric bill.

The problem was, when we arrived back home about 5:30 PM, the whole house would be unbearably warm, and it would take our air conditioner on full power until at least 9:00 PM before it would be comfortable downstairs. The upstairs bedrooms would still be too warm at bedtime.

We installed QC-1500 fans in each of our 3 bedrooms upstairs. Now, when we arrive home, the first thing we do is open a couple of windows downstairs and turn on all 3 fans. Within 10 to 15 minutes, the entire downstairs is very cool and comfortable, and at bedtime we close the downstairs windows and open a window in the bedrooms. Immediately the bedrooms cool right down and by midnight we have to them turn off to keep from being too cold.

We now never turn our air conditioner on except weekends when we are home. Even then, the air conditioner is only on from about 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM when we turn it off and start our QC-1500's. We wish to thank QuietCool Mfg. for such an innovative product, and we want them to know that they didn't lie to us about how quiet they are. We sleep in the same room with them on and never even hear them.
